We provide you with a telephone service on the UNIV port of the NBN NTD.
We provide you with a data connection on the UNID port of the NBN NTD.
Beyond this point (into your premises) we have no control over the service, therefore we can take no responsibility for services that may not work beyond the NBN NTD.
We are happy to help you with issues beyond the NBN NTD, but this is because we believe in providing Good Old Fashioned Aussie Support & Service - not because we actually have anything to do with these services. Any support beyond the NBN NTD is "best effort" only.
Problems with your WiFi Network are not within our control, therefore you can't use them as an excuse not to pay your monthly invoice. The only time that we would take full responsibility for issues in your Local Area Network (including WiFi) would be if we carried out a full site survey prior to recommending equipment and we held a maintenance contract to administer these services.
The same applies to the telephone service.
If you connect a handset to the service which causes problems, you cannot claim that the service is substandard & not pay your invoice.
If your WiFi network or telephone isn't working on your hardware, but it works at the NBN NTD we have provided you with the service.
If your LAN is unstable because of the hardware you have installed, (for example by installing a Switch at the NBN NTD rather than a router and then connecting multiple devices to the LAN) again, the service works at the NBN NTD, therefore we are providing you with the service you have requested.
It is not reasonable, nor practical, to provide support beyond the NBN NTD, unless we completely control these devices & hardware.
The table below may be of assistance to gain a better understanding of how much data you are using. This may help you choose the right service and avoid unexpectedly high bills. Please note that actual usage will depend on the device used, the technology used (3G, 4G) and other factors. The information below is based on averages and provides estimates only.
